How Kazini Innovation Hub Drives Community Transformation

Where Young Ideas Grow Into Real Opportunities Kazini Innovation Hub is a space created to support young people with ideas, talent, and passion — but who may lack the tools, guidance, or funding to bring their dreams to life. It is a place of learning, creativity, and community where youth are empowered to become changemakers.

We understand that many young people have great ideas, but poverty, lack of skills, and limited opportunities hold them back. That’s why the Hub connects them to training, mentorship, funding, and a strong support system to help them grow both personally and professionally.

What We Offer at the Hub:

  • Skills & Business Training:
Young people receive hands-on training in business, technology, sustainable farming, product design, and social enterprise.
  • Mentorship & Coaching:
Each participant is matched with mentors who help guide them through their business or career journey.
  • Co-Working Space:
Youth can work, learn, and collaborate in a fully equipped space with internet, computers, and learning materials.
  • Innovation Labs & Workshops:
We host sessions where young people can build their ideas, test solutions, and get real-time feedback.
  • Networking & Exposure:
The Hub links youth to local and international partners, investors, and other young changemakers.

How the Hub Connects Youth to the SACCO and Other Opportunities

After completing training and mentorship, the youth present their business ideas.

If the idea is viable, they receive a startup loan from the SACCO.

The loan is supported by continued mentorship and monitoring.

They also gain access to other programs such as food support for their families, agricultural inputs, and psychosocial support when needed.

How This Changes Their Future: By going through the Kazini Innovation Hub, young people are:

  • Gaining skills that match today’s job market
  • Starting and running their own businesses
  • Becoming financially independent
  • Creating jobs for others in their communities
  • Solving real problems using their own ideas
  • Becoming leaders and role models for others
